The first major retrospective of the works of Horst P. Horst in North America. Known as the master of light, form and composition, Horst has mainly worked in Paris and New York. One of the most influential photographers of his time, his photos appeared in countless issues of Vogue.
The exhibition includes more than 250 prints and haute couture dresses from Chanel, Lanvin and Vionnet. The exhibition also features Horst‘s collaborations and friendships with Coco Chanel, Diana Vreeland, Marlene Dietrich and Salvador Dali.
