A few weeks ago I told you about the Eye Disease Foundation’s 9th Annual Golf Tournament. I am proud to report on that event today. In a word: Wow, great, grandiose (one word just wasn’t enough…).

150 donors gathered at the prestigious Le Mirage Golf Club and raised $63,000 for research on eye health.

The event, hosted by actress Marilyse Bourke and chaired by Misencil, was every bit as splendid and impressive as Misencil.

Thirty-five Misencil eyelash extension artists were on hand for an exquisite evening. My highlights: the five BG beauties, each clutching a Banker’s briefcase, who handed out $5,000 in door prizes; the electronic auction; the dinner prepared by renowned chef Mario Julien; and the performance by the Montreal Jazz Band.

It’s great to be part of a team that supports causes that are dear to it.
